Bio
Big Train and the Loco Motives are an Oklahoma City blues band that plays what they call 'Red Dirt Blues,' blending Delta grit, Texas boogie, Chicago electric blues and jump-blues swagger. The group traces to 2010, when bandleader Madsen teamed with percussionist Mike 'Pinebox' Lander to play the Norman Music Festival, growing from a duo into a four-piece. They record and tour actively, cutting material at Sun Studio in Memphis and shooting a video for their title track in Clarksdale, Mississippi
