Chris Thomas King, born Durwood Christopher Thomas in 1962, is an American blues musician, actor, and author from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the son of blues figure Tabby Thomas. He grew up around his father's juke joint and toured as a teenager, later fusing blues with hip-hop and other styles. He is also known for playing Delta bluesman Tommy Johnson in the Coen brothers' film O Brother, Where Art Thou?
