Bio
Collabs 3000 is a techno project by Chris Liebing and Speedy J (Jochem Paap), not the Modeselektor/Tiga pairing sometimes assumed. It sparked from an improvised back-to-back set at Frankfurt's U60311 club in 2001 and led to recordings for Speedy J's Novamute 'Collabs' series. The 2005 album Metalism helped define early-2000s European techno, and the pair reunited for a new EP in 2025
