Crowder is the solo project of David Crowder, an American Christian musician and songwriter born in 1971 in Texarkana, Texas. He first rose to prominence fronting the David Crowder Band before rebranding under his surname in 2012; his solo debut Neon Steeple (2014) reached the Billboard Top 10 and earned a Grammy nomination.
