Bio

Greensky Bluegrass is an American string band formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 2000, blending traditional bluegrass instrumentation with a rock-influenced, improvisational approach. The group won the band competition at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2006, which helped raise its national profile. Its long-standing lineup features mandolin, banjo, guitar, dobro, and bass.
