Bio
Hiatus Kaiyote is a future-soul quartet from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2011 around singer-guitarist Nai Palm with bassist Paul Bender, keyboardist Simon Mavin and drummer Perrin Moss. Their genre-fluid blend of jazz, funk, R&B and soul drew early praise from Prince, Erykah Badu and Questlove, and they have earned multiple Grammy nominations. The band calls its intricate, genre-defying approach "wondercore."
