Bio
Howlin' Hurd is the solo 'Electrified Country Blues' persona of Brian Hurd, the singer, songwriter and harmonica player who fronts the Brooklyn blues band Daddy Long Legs. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri and based in New York City, he strips old blues and roots standards down to roots rock, blues and guttural soul in regular NYC residencies. His band Daddy Long Legs' album 'Lowdown Ways' reached No. 4 on the Billboard Blues chart and earned five stars from Rolling Stone
