Inner Circle is a Jamaican reggae band formed in Kingston in 1968 by brothers Ian and Roger Lewis, achieving early success in the 1970s before reaching international pop crossover prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Known as The Bad Boys of Reggae, the band became globally recognized through hits like Bad Boys, later the theme song for the American TV series COPS, and Sweat, which topped charts in multiple countries. Inner Circle won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 1993 for Bad Boys.
