Jhayco, formerly known as Jhay Cortez, is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, and songwriter born Jesús Manuel Nieves Cortés in 1993 in San Juan. He began as a songwriter for Latin artists before launching his own career, releasing his debut album Famouz in 2019 and co-writing the hit "Dákiti" with Bad Bunny.
