Josh Meloy is an Oklahoma singer-songwriter working in the state's Red Dirt country-rock tradition, known for gritty vocals, reflective ballads and a stripped-down sound. He didn't play music until picking up guitar in college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, and launched his recording career with the 2018 debut Washington Street, followed by Oklahoma (2020) and later releases. Popular songs include "Porch Light" and "Met the Devil in Oklahoma."
