Ledisi (born Ledisi Anibade Young, March 28, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American singer-songwriter, producer and actress raised in Oakland, California. She began her career independently, releasing her debut album Soulsinger in 2000, before signing with Verve/Universal and releasing the acclaimed Lost & Found in 2007. Her work spans R&B, jazz and soul, and she won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance in 2021 for 'Anything For You.'
