Bio

Mama Said String Band is an American bluegrass group formed in 2016 and based in Louisville, Kentucky. Drawing on bluegrass, folk, and americana, the band is known for its vocal harmonies, and its members include David O'Neal, Katie Caudill, Kaitlen Farmer, and Kris Potts. They were named Bluegrass Artist of the Year at the 2025 Lexington Music Awards.
