Bio
People of Earth (POE) is a New York City Latin-music collective formed in 2017, featuring musicians from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Haiti, Greece, Switzerland, Canada, and the US. They perform a style they coined 'American Timba Music' (A.T.M.), reimagining Cuban timba through the Bronx's musical languages and blending Afro-Latin traditions with funk, hip hop, jazz, and New Orleans grooves. Their self-titled debut album arrived in May 2023 on Truth Revolution Records
