Pepper is an American reggae-rock trio formed in 1996 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and now based in San Diego, consisting of Kaleo Wassman, Bret Bollinger, and Yesod Williams. They describe their sound as 'Kona Dub-Rock,' fusing reggae, alternative rock, dub, and punk energy. Their 2002 album Kona Town marked their mainstream breakthrough, peaking near the top of the Billboard Reggae chart
