Phil Vassar is an American country singer-songwriter and pianist, born in 1962 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He first found success writing hits for artists such as Tim McGraw and Jo Dee Messina before launching his own recording career with a self-titled album in 2000. His signature songs include the number-one hit "Just Another Day in Paradise."
