Special Request is the rave- and jungle-inspired alias of British producer and DJ Paul Woolford, from Leeds, England. Launched in 2012 and drawing on UK pirate radio culture, the project fuses hardcore, breakbeat, and techno. Woolford is a Grammy-nominated producer who has worked with artists including Calvin Harris and Depeche Mode.
