The Rapture is an American band associated with the New York dance-punk scene of the early 2000s and the DFA label. Their 2002 single "House of Jealous Lovers," produced by James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy, became a defining record of the era's dance-punk revival. The group released the album Echoes in 2003.
