The Big Sky Comedy Festival brings 24 hand-picked stand-ups from across the U.S. and beyond to Billings, Montana each October for a week of showcases and its signature head-to-head team competition, scored by industry judges whose ranks have included representatives from CBS, NBC, Comedy Central and The Tonight Show. Running since 2012 with 10+ shows in venues across the city, the festival culminates in a grand finale at the historic Alberta Bair Theater, where the top eight comedians compete to be crowned MVP. The 2026 edition runs October 6-10
