What happened to Blue Plum Festival?
The Blue Plum Organization decided not to hold the festival in 2026; the organization said it has met the mission that launched the festival more than two decades ago and, as an all-volunteer organization, is stepping back while continuing its Johnson City Christmas Parade and other downtown initiatives.
