The experience

What's special

C-KeyTiki Fest is a three-day festival of tropical rock and reggae on Cedar Key, a small island on Florida's Gulf Coast, from April 30 to May 2, 2027, its fifth year. The main stage plays at Pirates Cove, with songwriter rounds in the mornings at the Island Hotel, night concerts around the island and parties at Lowkey Hideaway. The 2027 bill so far includes Seranation, Flip Flop Republic, Joe Downing and Stoney Banks. The island has been rebuilding after hurricane damage, and the festival is framed as an economic boost for its locally owned businesses.

How it works

A Weekend Pass is $85, with a limited Early Bird Weekend Pass at $75, and the VIP Weekend Pass at $145 adds drink tickets, a festival T-shirt and the VIP Lounge at Pirate's Cove. A pass is needed to enter the venues during show times; wristbands are collected at check-in with ID and the confirmation email, starting Friday afternoon at Lowkey Hideaway. Bring a chair for the main stage, water is welcome, and pets are allowed at Pirates Cove and Lowkey Hideaway. There are no refunds, and the schedule shifts for Florida weather.

Who it suits

It suits adults who want reggae and tropical rock in a barefoot island setting, with costume nights, a glow party and a treasure hunt built into the weekend. The island is small and lodging is limited, so it rewards people who book a room first and are happy to ride a shuttle between venues. Some venues are 21 and up and others admit under-18s where food is served, so families should check which rooms they can use.

Getting there

How do I get to C-KeyTiki Fest?

Cedar Key is a small island on Florida's Gulf Coast reached by State Road 24, so the last stretch of every trip is a drive. Most visitors park once and then get around on the festival's Tiki shuttle, a rented bicycle or a golf cart, because the venues are spread along the highway and downtown. The two Highway 24 venues have little parking, which is why many people leave the car in the larger lots the shuttle passes. Friday's first stop is wristband check-in, so plan the drive in around it. The options below cover parking and getting around in detail.

Nearest airport GNV.

By car

The nearest major airport is GNV, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.

By train

No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.

By bus & public transit

No scheduled intercity bus or public transit route to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.

Taxi & rideshare

Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

🅿 Parking

On site parking available. Parking is limited beside Pirates Cove and along Highway 24 at Pirates Cove and Lowkey Hideaway. A large gravel lot at the corner of 3rd Street and Highway 24 is a Tiki shuttle pickup, and a large parking area near the downtown dock at the boat ramp is on the shuttle's route. The shuttle loops every 10 to 15 minutes.

Camping & Accommodation

Where do most people stay?

Lodging on Cedar Key is small and locally owned, and booking a room before buying a ticket is the safe order. People stay in inns, cottages, rental houses and condos, in RV spots at a festival venue, or at a campground a few miles off the island. Many rentals will not show up in a search until you enter three nights, so the usual plan is to book Friday through Sunday and call local owners directly. Staying on the island puts the shuttle loop and the downtown restaurants within reach after the shows. The options below list places to stay.

What to bring

A three-day outdoor festival on a small Gulf Coast island, with the main stage at Pirates Cove, songwriter rounds in the morning and night shows around town.

Cell service is weakSignals are poor on Cedar Key, and schedule changes for weather go out by text and email. Make sure everyone in your party is signed up for the updates before you arrive.
Rain moves the music, not the partyStorms usually pass the island quickly, and the schedule is reshuffled to catch the best weather window, with sets moved into the smaller indoor venues. Tents cover light rain, so a rain layer is enough.
Stock up before you crossCedar Key has had no grocery store since Hurricane Helene. Buy snacks, water and anything for your room in Chiefland or at a Dollar General before you reach the island. Restaurants are open and food trucks serve the main stage.
Sunscreen and bug sprayPack plenty of sunscreen, plus bug spray for no-see-ums.
Costume nightsRecent themes have been pirates on Friday night, 80s neon for the Saturday glow party at Lowkey Hideaway and beach bum on Sunday. Costumes are part of the crowd, so pack the outfits.
Alcohol is bought at the venueEach concert venue sells its own alcohol and bringing your own is not permitted, so leave the cooler in the car.
The shuttle rests at main stage timeThe Tiki shuttle runs from morning to late but takes intermittent breaks during main stage hours, 11 am to 6 pm, parked at Pirates Cove. For a mid-afternoon hop between venues, a bicycle or golf cart is the safer bet.

Entry rules

Ages & IDAge rules vary by venue: some are always 21 and up, and some that serve food allow under-18s.
ChairsAllowed
PetsPirates Cove and Lowkey Hideaway permit pets; a few venues may not.
