What happened to Festival of the Bluegrass?
This long-running festival was last held in 2019. Its founders, Bob and Jean Cornett, have since died, and no edition under the Festival of the Bluegrass name has run since. A separate event, Spirit in the Bluegrass, has been held at the same venue since 2023 with the Cornett family's blessing.
