By car
Most people drive to Fiesta San Antonio. The nearest major airport is SAT, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
Amtrak's San Antonio station (SAS, 350 Hoefgen Ave, beside the historic Sunset Station complex) sits on the eastern edge of downtown, roughly a 15-20 min walk or a ~5 min rideshare from Hemisfair and the Alamo. The Texas Eagle arrives daily from Chicago/Dallas/Austin and the Sunset Limited three days a week from Los Angeles/Houston/New Orleans, a genuine arrival option for Fiesta since the station is essentially inside the event footprint. Intercity coaches serve San Antonio at the downtown bus station, 500 N St Mary's St (Greyhound and FlixBus operate jointly there; FlixBus also stops at the Pearl District and at Crossroads Blvd ~10 mi out, use the downtown stop for Fiesta). The downtown station is roughly a 1 mi / 20 min walk or short rideshare from Alamo Plaza and Hemisfair. A budget route in from Austin, Houston, Dallas and the Rio Grande Valley rather than an airport transfer

Uber and Lyft both pick up at San Antonio International Airport (follow airport rideshare signage; SAT trips carry a small airport surcharge, ~$1). The airport is only ~8 mi north of downtown, so this is the fastest door-to-door option. During Fiesta expect surge pricing and rerouted drop-offs on parade days (Battle of Flowers, Fiesta Flambeau), when large parts of downtown close to traffic, drivers will drop at the closure perimeter. Taxis also serve the airport from marked ranks. No advance booking URL, hail in-app on arrival
Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

No on site parking. Use nearby lots or transit. Fiesta is a citywide downtown event with major street closures (especially on the Battle of Flowers and Fiesta Flambeau parade days) and no festival-operated parking. The official Fiesta FAQ points attendees to VIA Park & Ride, which runs special Fiesta service from Crossroads Park & Ride, Stone Oak Park & Ride, and Brooks (2026: Walmart at Brooks) to event-specific downtown drop-offs (e.g. Convention Way Dr. off Market St for NIOSA/parades, S. Main Ave at Guenther St for King William Fair). City-owned downtown garages (Houston Street Garage 111 College St, Central Library Garage 600 Soledad, Convention Center Garage 850 E. Commerce St) are the drive-in fallback; city officials explicitly ask visitors to use rideshare, VIA Park & Ride, or walk/bike during major events.
