Over four days the mountain meadow fills with heavy-athletics competitions and the caber toss, massed pipe bands, Highland dancing, clan tents and a Parade of Tartans, Scottish food and whisky tastings, and a Friday-night Celtic rock concert

Clans and Scottish societies gather on the mountain for the annual Gathering of Scottish Clans, with clan tents, a Parade of Tartans, the Kirkin' o' the Tartan and a Thursday-night Torchlight Ceremony
