Age, licensing and hygiene
Neither the organizer nor the ticket page publishes an admission age or tattooing age. The venue's event page says only 'Family-friendly atmosphere (tattooing areas may be restricted)'
The organiser publishes nothing on licensing, sterilization/single-use, bloodborne pathogen procedures, tattooing minimum age, ID checks, consent forms, aftercare and security/bag policy. Ask the artist you are booking with, and expect a licensed booth to answer without hesitating.

What's special
INKCON, the Trusted Tattoo Gathering, is a three-day tattoo convention in Expo Hall 4 at the Pomona Fairplex, October 9 to 11, 2026, hosted by black-and-gray pioneers Freddy Negrete and Corey Miller with Trusted Tattoo Company. The organizer bills over 250 booths of tattooing, art and music, with daily tattoo competitions that any attendee with tattoos can enter, a Live Art Fusion segment, artist meet-and-greets, custom car and motorcycle displays and a beer garden run with October Fest. The venue gives the 2026 edition a Day of the Dead-inspired theme. Tickets are $25 for any single day or $60 for all three, and active-duty military, law enforcement and firefighters get in free with valid ID
What happens on the floor
The core format: artists take a booth for the weekend and work on the open floor, with the public walking through.
Pieces go on in the open, start to finish. You can watch, and talk to artists between clients.
Finished and same-day work is judged on stage in named categories, usually late in the day.
Teaching sessions aimed at working artists. Usually ticketed separately from admission.
Machines, inks, aftercare, art and clothing. Aimed at artists, but open to anyone through the door.
Stage acts between judging: sideshow, suspension and burlesque are common. Worth knowing before you sit down with a child.
Getting tattooed here
Admission gets you through the door, not into a chair. Tattoo work is arranged with the artist, not with the show.
The organizer's ticket page invites attendees to 'get inked on the spot', so walk-ups are part of the format; no availability guarantee or pricing is published
Who is tattooing
Only the three 2026 hosts are named for this edition; the 21-name featured list on the site belongs to the 2024 edition (see past_edition_roster)
3 artists are listed for this edition, and Instagram handles where the show publishes them.
