What's special
Mystic Market is two very different events sold under one name, which is the venue's own framing. Friday 18 September is a seated show: a buffet dinner for weekend ticket holders, then a live gallery style mediumship event from 6 to 9 p.m. in the arena. Saturday 19 September is the market, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with private one on one readings and dozens of vendor tables selling crystals, handmade jewelry, candles, spiritual tools and metaphysical gifts. The readers are billed by where they come from rather than by name, as mediums from Salem, Massachusetts and Lily Dale, New York, the latter a long established spiritualist community in western New York. The venue is the LECOM Event Center, the downtown Elmira arena that was First Arena until 2024
What it costs
Two layers, and this event is unusually clear about both. Layer one, the gate, is a four tier ticket sold only through Eventbrite: Saturday Only at $8 plus a $2.20 fee, Friday Only at $50 plus $4.89, General Admission Weekend at $75 plus $6.50, and VIP Weekend at $90 plus $7.45. Saturday is the cheap way in and buys admission to the market floor and nothing else. Layer two is per service, and the venue states it in its own words on the Saturday Only tier: readings and vendor purchases are priced on the day. Every private reading and every crystal, candle or piece of jewellery is a separate transaction with the individual medium or trader at their own rate, and not one of those rates is published by the venue, the promoter or the ticket page. The two layers overlap only at VIP, which folds a 15 minute private reading and discounted extended readings into the ticket price; even there the discount rate is unpublished, so a VIP buyer cannot price a longer sitting in advance either. Parking is a third cost the venue names but does not price, and vendor booth fees are a fourth, published in full by the promoter

What each ticket includes is published tier by tier and is reproduced above verbatim. The important exclusion is that no ticket except VIP includes any reading. An $8 Saturday ticket buys the room, not a sitting Fees are published rather than hidden: the venue prints both the base price and the total with fees for all four tiers. Beyond the ticket, no per reading rate is published by anyone, so a Saturday reading cannot be budgeted from published information. Parking is charged separately by whichever garage or street space is used and no rate is published. Sales close 17 September 2026 at 6 p.m. and there are no refunds
