How do I get to Reggae on the River?
By car
Most people drive to Reggae on the River. The nearest major airport is ACV, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.
By bus & public transit
all three are also official Reggae on the River shuttle stops (see next entry), so a rider can chain HTA-to-Garberville with the festival's own shuttle for the final leg. No Sunday HTA service is a real gap for Sunday arrivals/late arrivals

Genuine official festival-operated shuttle (not an airport shuttle, but the confirmed way to reach the venue from the surrounding towns without driving in) a one-time $20 wristband buys unlimited weekend rides, or single rides on a sliding scale up to $5. Stops: Redway, Garberville, Benbow, Richardson's Grove State Park, Richardson's Grove RV Park / Patriot Gas Station, Overflow Parking at French's Camp, and the Box Office at County Line Ranch. Southbound route begins 9am Friday-Sunday; northbound route ends about one hour after the Mainstage closes (approx. 2:00-2:30am). There is explicitly NO pedestrian access permitted on Highway 101, so the shuttle (or a car) is the only way in/out for anyone not parked directly on festival grounds

no flat fare exists for a full ACV-to-Piercy run. Realistic use is combining a rideshare/taxi to Eureka with the HTA bus and/or festival shuttle for the rest of the trip, or renting a car for the whole leg

Base 3-day GA ticket holders without this add-on camp in the general river-bar GA area instead (see notes above), not in a vehicle-adjacent spot
