The experience
What's special
The Tucson Metaphysics Fair is a small monthly fixture rather than an event you plan a trip around, and that is its appeal. On the fourth Saturday of every month, Mystic Cavern Metaphysical on East 22nd Street fills with tables: psychics, tarot readers, mediums, astrologers, energy healers and spiritual practitioners from across Southern Arizona, alongside crystals, handcrafted jewelry, metaphysical tools, incense and candles. The September 2026 occurrence falls on Saturday the 26th, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The group behind it calls itself Oracles on Oracle and names eleven practitioners on its own site, offering everything from gemstone divination and palmistry to Reiki and spirit communication. There is no stage, no talk programme and no ticket. It is a shop, on a Saturday, full of readers
What it costs
Two layers, and layer one is a genuine unknown that must not be rounded to free. The fair publishes no admission price on its own website, the host shop publishes none, and the events listing the fair points to publishes none, and not one of them says entry is free either. The only statements in either direction come from people who do not run the fair: a Meetup relisting of this exact date, posted by the Tucson Paranormal Society, says there is no need to RSVP or buy a ticket, and a local business directory listing of the fair says prices vary, which reads as a note about reading rates rather than a door charge. Those are third party signals, they do not agree, and neither is recorded here as the price. The door is unknown. Layer two is the normal branch pattern and it is where the money actually goes: every reading, every healing session and every crystal, candle or piece of jewelry is bought from the individual practitioner or the host shop at their own rate. No rate is published for anything, and no session length is published either, so a visitor cannot budget a reading in advance and should ask at the table. Parking is not charged as far as anything published shows. The gap on this record is the door, and it is the reason the completeness gate fails
Getting in
What a reading costs
Nothing can be stated about what admission includes, because no admission product is published. Readings, sessions and purchases are separate in every case The outstanding gap is the door price. Everything else on the money side is unpublished by nature, because each practitioner sets their own rate at their own table
What is on offer

A reader interprets a spread of tarot cards with you, usually one to one at a booth or table.
Your birth date, time and place are used to draw and discuss an astrological chart.
The reader looks at the lines and shape of your hands and talks through what they see.
A one to one sitting in which the reader offers impressions about your life and circumstances.

Readers and practitioners
Reading and healing booths
Seen at their own booth on the floor. Sessions are booked and paid for with each practitioner.
None of these practitioners publishes a profile page through the event, so there is nothing to link to beyond the event listing itself.
Walk up. No booking system, no appointment route and no queue rule is published, and there is nothing to reserve because nothing is ticketed. A Meetup relisting of this date tells readers there is no need to RSVP or buy a ticket, which is a third party statement rather than the fair's own. Readings and healing sessions are taken at each practitioner's own table during the five hour window, so availability depends on who is trading that Saturday
