What are the essentials for an EDM festival?
The EDM-specific kit on top of normal festival basics: a hydration plan (refillable bottle or approved hydration pack, since you'll dance more than you think), high-fidelity earplugs, comfortable dancing shoes, a portable charger, and a light layer for temperature swings after sunset. Most majors are cashless with wristband or card payment, so set that up before the gates. Agree on a meeting point with your group early; near the stages, phones stop being reliable.

What should I wear to an EDM festival?
Comfort first, expression second, and both are welcome: the practical baseline is breathable layers, closed-toe shoes you can dance in for ten hours, and sunglasses. Kandi, mesh, reflective gear, and full costumes are all normal; jeans in 95-degree heat are the actual mistake. Nights get cold at desert and mountain events, so stash a warm layer or arrange a locker. Check the festival's policy on hydration packs before buying one, and high-fidelity earplugs are the least raver-looking item that every veteran raver owns.
