A little history
The museum grew out of a historically significant collection given to the Collings Foundation, exploring America's conflicts from the Revolutionary War to today through a chronologically arranged series of dioramas and exhibits.
Each year the museum hosts Living History Weekends, including Tank Demonstrations, Aviation Exhibitions, Antique Car Displays, and the Battle for the Airfield WWII Re-Enactment. As part of the October event, the museum hosts a WWII veterans round table discussion once a day over the weekend.
