Dorothea Dix Park
Dorothea Dix Park is a 308-acre city park at 1030 Richardson Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina, all rolling lawns, meadows and mature trees, and its 35-acre Big Field is where Dreamville set up its stages. For Dreamville 2025 the event parking was over at NC State Centennial Campus and could sell out, and the whole park closed to other visitors while the festival was on. It is open lawn under the sun, so bring an empty reusable bottle: free filtered water stations were provided.

Getting there and parking
The park is at 1030 Richardson Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603. On an ordinary visit you park in the paved or gravel lots shown on the visitor map, not on roadsides or grass. Festival parking and shuttle arrangements are set by each event.
Festival-specific · DreamvilleDreamville's event parking was at NC State Centennial Campus, it could sell out, and the whole park was closed to other visitors during the festival. In 2025 the entrances opened at noon and the event ran from noon to 11pm on April 5 and 6.
Without a car, the park map marks GoRaleigh bus stops and greenway and bikeway connections. Raleigh Union Station is about two miles away, with GoRaleigh buses for the last leg.
The outdoor park spaces are open daily from dawn to dusk, and facility hours vary.
Accessibility
Parts of the park and the event areas have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. ADA parking is in the paved lots, and the improved sidewalks and curb cuts are concentrated around the finished projects: the Stone Houses, Gipson Play Plaza and The Chapel.
Accessible temporary restrooms go in at the Big Field and Flowers Field, and there are indoor accessible restrooms at the Stone Houses, Gipson Play Plaza and the House of Many Porches. The adventure and water play at Gipson Play Plaza is fully accessible.

Food, water and what you can bring
On a normal day there are food trucks, some regular and some pop-up, and the House of Many Porches Market sells sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffee, baked goods, frozen desserts, beer and wine. Beer and wine from the market stay within the designated area around it. Alcohol at a festival is served under the event's own permit and controlled by the organiser.
Water stations and fountains are marked on the park map and at the House of Many Porches and Stone Houses.

Sound and sensory
This is a big open lawn: uneven grass, full sun and temporary festival structures, with the old campus buildings of the park around you. Outside festival weekends the park is a dawn-to-dusk public greenspace, so closures and the sound are limited to the event.
