Durham Armory
The Durham Armory is a city-run hall at 212 Foster Street on the corner of Foster and Morgan in downtown Durham, less than 20 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The ballroom floor holds 585 without tables and chairs, with a balcony for 314 more. There is no guest parking at the building itself: use the street or the Durham Centre Parking Garage on West Morgan Street.

Worth knowing before you go

Getting there and parking
The Armory is at 212 Foster Street, on the corner of Foster and Morgan Streets in downtown Durham, less than 20 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport and close to parking garages.
Guest parking is on the street or in the Durham Centre Parking Garage at 300 W. Morgan Street; the carport at the back of the building is for loading and unloading only.
Events can run any day from 6am to 2am, and the building is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Tours run on the first and third Monday of the month from noon to 6pm, no appointment needed.

Food, water and what you can bring
A large kitchen with an industrial stove, double sink, microwave, refrigerator and ice machine serves the hall, alongside a snack bar, and the city supplies 25 round tables, 40 banquet tables and 350 chairs.
Alcohol is prohibited unless the organiser holds permits from Durham Parks and Recreation and the State ABC Board, and events serving alcohol must hire security through the Durham Police Department.
