Francis Field
Francis Field is the City of St. Augustine's fenced grass event field in the historic downtown, next to the Visitor Information Center and the 1,200-space Historic Downtown Parking Facility. That garage is normally open around the clock, but for the 2025 Francis Field Showcase it was closed to the public and free park-and-ride shuttles ran from Broudy's Lot, the county health department, the San Marco Lot and Colonial Church, so plan around the event's traffic plan rather than a normal downtown drive.

A little history
Francis Field was named in 1938 and was home to St. Augustine's amateur baseball team, then served as a military training facility during World War II before shifting from baseball to concerts, festivals and outdoor events.
Sing Out Loud began in 2016 and grew into a multi-day national-headliner showcase at Francis Field; the 2025 showcase was two days of national acts with late-evening programming. The marquee Francis Field event is not running in September 2026 and is planned to return in May 2027, while the local showcases continue in September.
