The Mill & Mine
The Mill & Mine is an industrial-style concert hall at 227 West Depot Avenue in downtown Knoxville, a block north of the Old City, holding up to 1,200 for standing shows with an 8,000 square foot courtyard lawn outside. It has no parking of its own: the nearest public lot is under the I-40 overpass at Magnolia and Williams, a 3 to 5 minute walk, and the Blue Slip Winery lot next door locks its gate at night. Everyone 18 and over needs photo ID, bags and outside food stay home, and a full bar runs at every show.

Worth knowing before you go

Getting there and parking
The Mill & Mine is at 227 West Depot Avenue in downtown Knoxville, one block north of the Old City and across from the Southern Railway Station.
Street parking runs along West Depot Avenue and the surrounding streets, and the closest public lot is under the I-40 overpass at the corner of E. Magnolia Avenue and Williams Street, a 3 to 5 minute walk. Do not park in the Blue Slip Winery and Southern Railway lot: they close the gate and you cannot get your car out at the end of the night. For private events the venue points to a large free city-owned lot a block to the north.
There is no physical box office. Will call opens one hour before doors on the day of an event, and ticketing questions go to Ticketweb.

Food, water and what you can bring
Every show has a full bar with mixed drinks (alcoholic and alcohol-free), wine and beer, taking cash and all major cards, plus snacks and lighter fare for sale. Plenty of restaurants sit a few blocks away in the Old City, along Gay Street and at Market Square.
No outside food or drink, no weapons of any kind including pocketknives, and no large backpacks, bags or oversized purses; everyone and everything entering is subject to search. Cameras with detachable lenses, selfie sticks, GoPros and video recorders are not allowed without a pre-approved photo pass; only point-and-shoot cameras that fit in a pocket get in, and the policy can tighten by artist.
Sound and sensory
The room is a renovated industrial space with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system and large skylights, and the main floor is standing room for most shows. Age limits vary by show and are on each event page; unless stated otherwise, under-18s may enter 18-plus shows with a parent or legal guardian, anyone 18 or over must show valid photo ID, and children under 3 do not need a ticket for all-ages events.
