Getting there and parking
Parking adjacent to the festival grounds is limited, and high-attendance nights can fill up early, so Wurstfest recommends checking its parking map and planning ahead. The site suggests skipping the parking hunt by taking the shuttle, sharing a ride, or making a weekend of it.
An official Park 'N Ride shuttle runs from the Comal County Fairgrounds, with the first shuttle departing as early as 10:45am on some days and running continuously until the festival closes. Shuttle tickets do not include festival admission.
Tour buses follow one-way traffic on Hinman Island from Elizabeth Avenue to Liberty Avenue, dropping passengers off over the railroad tracks on Hinman Avenue before staging on Hinman Avenue or Prince Solms. On busy nights, buses drop off and then stage at Prince Solms Park instead.
