19th Street Red is the stage name of blues singer, guitarist and songwriter Randy Cohen. Influenced as a child by Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and T-Bone Walker, he is known for a raspy vocal style and raw slide guitar played on a Les Paul. After years performing in Washington D.C., the San Francisco Bay Area and New Orleans, he settled permanently in Clarksdale, Mississippi in 2020
