Bio

Amani Burnham is an Ethiopian-born, Connecticut-based guitarist, singer and songwriter and a rising blues-rock talent who signed to Blind Pig Records within roughly two years of picking up the guitar. Drawing on Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, he is noted for a distinctive fingerstyle technique played with his right-hand thumb rather than a pick, working in a power-trio format. His debut album is 'Roots and Wings.'
