By bus & public transit
Intercity coach linking Bethlehem with New York Port Authority (41st St & 8th Ave, Lower Level South Wing gates 2/4/6) and Newark Liberty Airport (EWR). Trans-Bridge stops at the Bethlehem Transportation Center AND at Lehigh Valley International Airport itself, so it doubles as a local ABE-Bethlehem link and, more usefully, makes EWR a realistic fly-in alternative to the small ABE airport for this festival. Fully reservation-based (no cash fares at Port Authority); a book-early savings fare model launched 1 Aug 2026 with NYC/Newark fares from $22.50
Book / info →LANTA Route 324 (Airport) connects Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) with both the Allentown Transportation Center and the Bethlehem Transportation Center; the LANTA pick-up/drop-off is in the bus loop at the airport's Lower Level Multi-Modal Transportation Center outside Baggage Claim. From downtown Bethlehem, transfer to the EBS Bethlehem Blue/Green lines (every 15 minutes or better), which stop at Riverport, Southside Station, Casino and the Polk Street Garage area, all within a few minutes' walk of the SteelStacks campus. Caveat: Route 324 runs weekdays and Saturdays only (festival days are Fri/Sat, so arrival works), roughly hourly with last departures around 5 p.m., it is not an option for a late-evening return to the airport after headline sets

Uber and Lyft both operate at ABE with a designated TNC/Rideshares pickup zone outside the terminal near Baggage Claim (follow Ground Transportation signage); taxis wait outside the terminal. The airport-to-venue run is short, ABE is only about 7-8 miles from the SteelStacks campus, so rideshare is the practical default for fly-in attendees, especially for the evening return that public transit cannot cover. No advance booking URL, hail in-app on arrival
Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

Per the venue's own 'Getting to SteelStacks' page, free parking lots are located on First Street about a block from the ArtsQuest Center (101 Founders Way), with accessible parking provided. Overflow: three Bethlehem Parking Authority garages in the SouthSide Arts District, Polk Street Garage (418 PA-412, closest to SteelStacks), Riverport Garage (13 W 2nd St) and South New Street Garage (324 S New St). No prepay platform is used; ArtsQuest also offers valet under the ArtsQuest Center canopy on Fri/Sat evenings 5-11 p.m

Blast Furnace Blues is a free two-day fest in mid-July, a far smaller demand spike than August's Musikfest (when the whole city surges), so availability is generally reasonable; book early for SouthSide walkable units all the same
