Amythyst Kiah is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Chattanooga, Tennessee, who studied bluegrass and old-time music at East Tennessee State University. Describing herself as a Southern Gothic, alt-country blues artist, she earned a Grammy nomination for her work with the folk supergroup Our Native Daughters and released her Rounder Records album "Wary + Strange" in 2021.
