Barry Can't Swim is the stage name of Joshua Spence Mainnie, a Scottish electronic music producer and DJ from Edinburgh, born in 1992, whose music blends dance and electronic production with jazz-inflected instrumentation. His 2023 debut album When Will We Land? was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, and his 2025 follow-up Loner reached the UK Top 10
