Bio

Bob Stroger (born December 27, 1930, in the Missouri bootheel) is a Chicago electric-blues bassist, singer and songwriter who moved to Chicago in 1955. His career took off in the 1970s as a cornerstone of Otis Rush's rhythm section, and he later recorded with Sunnyland Slim, Mississippi Heat, Jimmy Rogers, Eddy Clearwater and many others.
