Bio
Carlos Johnson (born January 17, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois) is an American blues guitarist and singer known for his aggressive style and for playing a right-handed guitar upside-down, left-handed, like Otis Rush and Albert King. He toured for years with Koko Taylor, Otis Rush, Junior Wells, Son Seals and others, and first made his mark in Japan with Valerie Wellington in 1989. Active since the 1970s, he waited until 2000 to release his debut album under his own name, My Name Is Carlos Johnson, and has since led his own Serious Blues Band
