Bio

Chris Knight (born June 24, 1960) is an American country and Americana singer-songwriter from Slaughters, Kentucky. Before pursuing music full time he earned a degree in agriculture at Western Kentucky University and worked for the Kentucky Department of Surface Mining. He has also written songs recorded by artists including Confederate Railroad, John Anderson and Randy Travis.
