DJ Paul is an American rapper and producer from Memphis, Tennessee, and a founding member of the group Three 6 Mafia. Known for pioneering Memphis rap and crunk, he shared the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2006 for 'It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp' from the film Hustle & Flow.
