Tech N9ne, born Aaron Dontez Yates in 1971, is an American rapper from Kansas City, Missouri, known for his fast, chopper-style delivery. In 1999 he co-founded the independent label Strange Music with Travis O'Guin, and he is widely regarded as one of the most commercially successful independent hip-hop artists.
