Bio
Dogs in a Pile is a five-piece jam band based in Asbury Park, New Jersey, that merges funk, jazz, rock and roll and psychedelia into a free-flowing improvisational sound. The group came together in 2018-2019 when Jersey Shore natives guitarist Jimmy Law and drummer Joe Babick linked up with Berklee College of Music students Sam Lucid (bass), Jeremy Kaplan (keys) and Brian Murray (guitar). Sons of Deadhead musicians, the band draws on the Grateful Dead, Phish and jazz fusion, and a run of sold-out shows built a devoted Northeast following known as the Dog Pound
