Bio
Fireside Collective is a progressive bluegrass and newgrass-turned-jam band from Asheville, North Carolina, formed in 2014 when mandolinist Jesse Iaquinto gathered a group of bluegrass enthusiasts to back his songwriting. The lineup of Iaquinto, guitarist Joe Cicero, resonator guitarist Tommy Maher and bassist Carson White won the 2016 band competition at MerleFest, and their 2020 album Elements reached No. 3 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart. With drummer Michael Tillis joining in late 2023, the group has broadened its Appalachian roots sound with funk, classic rock and jam-band elements
