Gene Farris is an American house-music DJ and producer from Chicago who emerged from the city's underground warehouse scene in the early 1990s. A self-taught producer, he founded the label Farris Wheel Recordings, has released on imprints such as Cajual, Relief and Defected, and is known for collaborations with artists including Green Velvet and Jamie Jones.
