Route 7 is the Amtrak-connected intercity coach running the full US-101 corridor between Martinez (Amtrak rail connection) and Arcata/Cal Poly Humboldt, with 4 daily trips in each direction and 18 city-to-city connections including stops at Garberville (Humboldt Bar & Grill), roughly 13 mi north of Cook's Valley Campground, and Leggett (Peg House), roughly 10 mi south of it. Bus-only tickets are sold for all city pairs (no rail segment required). It does not stop at the ACV airport terminal itself fly-in attendees connect from ACV to the Arcata Transit Plaza (~7 mi) by Lyft/taxi/HTA first. There is no transit of any kind for the final ~10-13 mi from Garberville or Leggett to the campground gate a pre-arranged pickup or taxi is required for that last leg

Book / info →HTA's intercity line runs Monday-Saturday (no Sunday service) between Eureka/Fortuna and the southern Humboldt towns of Redcrest, Weott, Miranda, Phillipsville, Redway, Garberville and Benbow; HTA's network also serves the Arcata, Eureka Airport (ACV) and McKinleyville at the northern end. Cheapest way down the corridor, but it terminates at Benbow still ~11-13 mi north of the venue, so like Route 7 it leaves a final leg that needs a taxi or pre-arranged ride. These are realistic for the airport-to-Arcata/Eureka leg. For the full ~85 mi run to Cook's Valley Campground, treat rideshare as unreliable: coverage in rural southern Humboldt/northern Mendocino is thin and no published fare exists for that trip pre-arranging a ride or hiring a car is the dependable play
