George Thorogood and the Destroyers are an American blues-rock band formed in 1973 in Delaware by singer and guitarist George Thorogood. Known for a high-energy boogie-blues sound, the group became a rock-radio staple in the 1980s with songs such as "Bad to the Bone" and "I Drink Alone."
