Hatebreed is an American band from New Haven, Connecticut, formed in 1994 and fronted by vocalist Jamey Jasta. Fusing hardcore punk with heavy metal, they released their debut album Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire in 1997 and broke onto the Billboard 200 with 2002's Perseverance. They are widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in metallic hardcore.
